HELLO CADETS!
Welcome to the world of Novaspace Frontiers! A retrofuturism, vintage science-fiction inspired space-adventure and reskin of the Dungeons and Dragons 5e system.
This world is an original creation of mine, inspired by everything I like about old monster movies and campy sci-fi to the fullest. It spanned two adventures, which had two original casts, two original storylines and lots of custom assets.

BEYOND the TABLE!
I've always enjoyed vintage, campy monster movies and retro sci-fi and this game and its concept was completely borne from those inspirations and ideas.
The original game focused on a crew of space-goers, working for the somewhat enigmatic "NOVASPACE FRONTIERS"; that train crews to chart uncharted space!
When another crew go missing in the unknown void, it is down to the crew of the Starship Jetset to figure out what went wrong.

I assigned the players four roles; Captain, Engineer, Pilot and Medic and put it up to them to decide who would like to be what - then I helped to design their characters for them.
Each role would be expected to have skills and abilities to fulfil that role.
-
A Medic should be able to keep them healthy.
-
An Engineer should understand technology.
-
A Captain should be a charismatic leader.
-
A Pilot should know environments and vehicles.
The crew in the end comprised of:

Nancy
Medic

Kat
Pilot

Angus
Engineer

Will
Captain
In addition, Angus had to followers who also had custom art as reskins of parts of his standard kit.
I also developed a series of completely original enemies; creating tokens and sheets for each of them to further add to the science fiction theming which is typically not present within the DnD 5e system.

Wee Man
Angus' Artificer Scout

Hamish
Angus' Artificer Companion

Cassandra

Eventually, the characters found one of the surviving crew of the missing ship who was played by another player towards the end of the adventure.

I ended up with a lot of cut content that never made it into the game because I was so excited about it.

BEYOND the TABLE 2:
THIS TIME IT'S ROBOTS!
Following the success of the original game, I was incredibly keen to give it a second try; with the information I learned from the first one and how to better navigate and execute the concept.
Still focusing on the crew from the company: "NOVASPACE FRONTIERS"; this time, the crew of the Starship Glamour must visit a space station who have gone dark for a few weeks.
But instead of sinister aliens as the villains, this time, the villains are robots!

Following the same format as before, I asked the players to construct characters with the same archetypes and was incredibly impressed by how different each character turned out in spite of having similar roles to the last time.
I improved upon the tokens for the game, giving them a slightly better design and also signifying a character's role or allegiance using different icons as this game had significantly more NPC characters.
The crew in the end comprised of:

Dick
Medic

Jenny
Pilot
The enemies of this game were under the behest of the sinister Robot Queen who had turned the security systems of the space station against the staff of scientists who were in themselves, a kooky set of characters. The players also had some followers.

Iris
Friendly Scout Droid

MATILDA
Body of Glamour's AI

MAX
Engineer

Cu:Tie
Captain

Robot Enemy Tokens
(All controlled by the Robot Queen)
In a twist, the Robot Queen was nothing but a proxy for one of the scientists who had falsified the whole scenario; revealing himself as the Robot King!
Using Crown-Drones, he controlled the scientists in the final fight inside his robot suit and was promptly defeated whilst the scientists were saved.
